Subject of Data Protection
The subject of data protection is personal data. According to the GDPR, these are individual details about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as name, postal address, email address, or telephone number, but possibly also usage data such as your IP address.
Scope of Data Collection and Storage
In general, it is not necessary for you to provide personal data in order to use our website. However, in order to actually provide our services, we may need your personal data. This is especially true for responding to individual inquiries.
We collect and store your data only to the extent necessary for the provision of the service or the execution of the order.
These data include, for example, first name, last name, mailing address, phone number, email address.
It may be necessary to disclose your personal data to companies that we use to provide the service or to execute the contract.
Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent, unless this is necessary for the provision of the service or for the execution of the contract (as stated above). The transmission to entitled state institutions and authorities only takes place within the framework of legal information obligations or if we are obliged to provide information by a court decision. In the latter case, the affected parties will be immediately informed about the data transmission.
After the complete execution of the contract, your data will be deleted after the purpose of use and the tax and commercial law retention regulations have expired, unless you have expressly agreed to further use of the data (see right to erasure).
If you have signed up for our newsletter with your email address, we will also use your email address for our own advertising purposes beyond the execution of the contract, until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
In addition to our newsletter, we use cookies to improve your user experience and collect statistical data about the use of our website.

Newsletter delivery via Mailchimp
We use the Mailchimp service to send our newsletter. The provider is The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a Mailchimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA, a company of Intuit Inc. Mailchimp processes your data on our behalf as a processor pursuant to Art 28 GDPR.
When you sign up for our newsletter, we transfer your email address to Mailchimp. It is stored there on servers in the USA. The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art 6 (1)(a) GDPR. Mailchimp is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework as a company of the Intuit group. The transfer of data to the USA is therefore covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. In addition, Mailchimp has contractually committed to comply with the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.
Sign-up uses a double opt-in process. After entering your email address you will receive an email with a confirmation link. Only when you click this link does your subscription take effect and your email address is added to the mailing list. Until you confirm, your sign-up is only stored provisionally at Mailchimp.
In addition, we receive an internal notification with your email address in our own mailbox for every new sign-up. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in managing the newsletter pursuant to Art 6 (1)(f) GDPR. If you do not confirm your sign-up, we do not use this information any further.
Your email address is stored for as long as you receive the newsletter. You can withdraw your consent at any time, either via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by email to eduard.frankford@frankford-it.at. The lawfulness of the processing carried out before your withdrawal remains unaffected. After you unsubscribe you will no longer receive the newsletter. To document your unsubscription, your email address remains stored on a suppression list at Mailchimp. On request we will gladly arrange full deletion, just send us a short message.
Further information on data protection at Mailchimp can be found in Mailchimp's privacy policy (Global Privacy Statement) at https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/.
